There was a sink but no dish soap or dish cloth for cleaning up. There were lots of cabinets, but no cutlery or plates or cups, so be sure to bring your own. The room was clean, the air conditioner worked There was a microwave and a mini fridge with some racks missing on the door. All in all, it was worth it & it was a fun time for the price we paid.Everything worked, but somehow the experience was underwhelming. My tips on this would be get a souvenir cup and fill it up as often as possible, bring as many drink & snacks as you can, & if you have to order food there, go for a pizza if your on a budget! #2 is we would have never played the arcade games and taken our kids to cash in their tickets if we had known that you are unlikely to have enough to buy anything! The ticket prices are completely ridiculous. We were so hungry at one point while swimming that we got some food at the restaurant there in the waterpark and is was over $60 for a cheeseburger combo, 2 hotdogs, & a nacho (that’s only one drink). Our family tried to bring as many snacks with us as we could but mind you there is no microwave in your room. My only complaints would be #1 the food is astronomically high. Everything is digital, room keys & payments are scanned from your wrist band. There are many amenities & things to do, as well as places to eat infuse the resort. We were able to score a Groupon & decided to go on a Thursday night because the low price could not be beat! We had a great time & tried to enjoy a little bit of everything the resort had to offer. We went to the great wolf lodge for my daughters 6th birthday & the 5 of us stayed in a junior cabin suite. I would not however, return for the regular rate of $300+. We felt safe and comfortable and for the $109 we paid, it was a deal. We did ‘to-go’ for all orders, which I think they were still figuring out since there was a bit of confusion with both orders. Both meals were OK, nothing impressive but were easier than going out of the hotel. We ate at the barnwood for dinner and had the breakfast vouchers the next morning. Waits for the slides weren’t long and they had life vests available for free. Staff was plentiful and it didn’t feel too over crowded, even for a Sunday. The water park area felt pretty well maintained. But overall, it was ok for a one night stay. The lighting in the room, especially the shower/toilet was very dim which was annoying at times. There is no hair dryer and there’s no closet for hanging up things. The only issues I found in the room was that our phone didn’t work, which caused an issue when we tried ordering breakfast for pick up. Our room seemed clean, though I also used 1/2 can of Lysol and wipes to ensure my family was even more safe. But, was a great alternative to carrying around a wallet and credit card. This was both convenient and potentially dangerous. You can elect to get a wristband that allows charging for everything in the hotel. Staff was pleasant and check in felt very clean, especially the wiping down between guests, plastic walls and everyone wearing masks. Although I did try multiple times to check in via the downloaded app, it never worked. I Felt safe knowing that if they and everyone else followed the precautions, we would be ok.Ĭheck in was easy enough and felt safe. I read through all 26 pages (yes really) of the precautions being taken at this hotel before booking. Now, I’m not going to lie, I am super cautious about COVID-19 and my family and I have been as safe as we possibly can be, considering we’re essential workers. Saw the spring break specials and decided to book.
